About Us

Established in the early 1990s as a grassroots volunteer initiative, Utthaan has grown into a charitable organization committed to social welfare. Formally registered under the Societies Registration Act in 1995, and subsequently under the Haryana Societies Registration Aet, 2012, Utthaan has been consistently expanding its scope to address the needs of marginalized communities.

Initially, Utthaan focused on supporting laborers in Gurgaon's unorganized sectors, including mat workers and brick-kiln laborers in the districts of Bhiwani and Mahendragarh, a primary education project of Haryana Govt funded by World Bank. Over the years, its activities have evolved to encompass diverse areas of social impact, including healthcare, environmental conservation, and youth engagement.
